South East Asia
With offices in Bangkok, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, Aurecon is currently working on projects throughout South-East Asia.
Our expertise in facade engineering is spearheading our expansion throughout South-East Asia. An international facade team was established in September 2003. Landmark facade projects we have engineered include the Jalan Binjai Apartments in Kuala Lumpur; the Veloqx Meiji Dori and Veloqx Miyuki Dori developments in Tokyo; Richgate condominiums in Shanghai as well as the new International Airport Terminal in Bangkok.
Some of our industrial projects include BlueScope Steel's new steel coating facility near Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and engineering procurement and construction management services to integrate grab wharf cranes at Paiton Power Station's Units 7 and 8 for PT Paiton Energy, Indonesia.
The imposing Thai Airways hangar at the New International Airport in Bangkok, which is designed to accommodate three supersized A380 aircraft, is one of our significant infrastructure projects in the region. Our Bangkok office also recently carried out a pipejacking design and manufacturing exercise on jacking pipes installed in a sewer extension in Victoria, Australia.
